Return and Refund Policy

Pursuant to the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and Legislative Decree 21/2014 implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

1. Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide any reason (art. 52 of the Consumer Code).

To exercise the right of withdrawal you must notify us before the deadline by:

2. Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to art. 59 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (fresh and perishable food products);
  • Goods made to measure or clearly personalised;
  • Sealed goods which have been opened after delivery and are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene.

Since Bottega dei Due Monti primarily sells typical Nebrodi food products, many items are by their nature excluded from the right of withdrawal. If in doubt about the returnability of a specific product, contact our customer service before purchasing.

3. Return Procedure

For products for which withdrawal is permitted, the consumer must:

  1. Notify the withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods;
  2. Return the goods within 14 days of giving notice of withdrawal;
  3. Ship the products in intact original packaging to: Via Piave 59, 98071 Cap’Orlando (ME).

Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer. Use of a tracked service is strongly recommended. If the packaging is damaged or not original, a 10% penalty may be applied to the refund amount.

4. Refund

Upon receipt and verification of the goods’ integrity, we will proceed with the refund within 14 days using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to withhold the refund until the goods are received or proof of shipment is provided.

5. Wrong, Damaged or Anomalous Goods at Delivery

If upon receipt you notice one of the following problems:

  • product different from the one ordered;
  • product with intact packaging but already expired or with a very close expiry date not indicated;
  • product with obvious organoleptic anomalies (smell, appearance) detectable upon opening;

please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@bottegadeiduemonti.it enclosing photos of the product and the label. We will evaluate on a case-by-case basis whether to replace or refund the product.

6. Goods Damaged During Shipping

If the parcel is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend not accepting the delivery or accepting it with a written reservation on the courier’s document. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.
